Not even close. Just check the trailers views. Joker Folie A Deux is a much more likely contender to be the Barbie of the year (despite the huge disadvantage of being R-rated). I think it looks cute and could do well but I don't see it pulling Barbie numbers... but who knows.

not gonna happen; nobody knows Wicked outside the US/UK

this is kinda of huge gamble because they seem confident it will do extremely well in the US to compensate for the rest of the world

honestly, it probably will do very well. People have been clamoring for a Wicked movie for YEARS, like 10+ years at this point. People are going to go see it just because they love Wicked, not to mention it looks like it's gonna be amazing. I am extremely excited as well!!!
