Well I'm not even an Arianator but it's lame how Ari, Nicki and Abel are constantly snubbed and Ari is literally friends with the two of them.

Also Lana who's Abel friend.

 

I mean, is there a conspiracy against them? 

 

I totally think TUN deserved AOTY in 2019 .

ES was better than Positions for me, IMO, and I do think it's a good album. However, such stellar music came out this year that it feels so redundant for Ariana to have returned with a safe Rn'B-pop album while most of the pop girls were doing something different. It's unfortunate she didn't even get a single award for the TU,N album or singles cuz she really shined in that record.

Pleasantly happy with the nominations this year! Although I'm a fan of Taylor I I really hope some other people win awards this year. I truly believe Sabrina or Chappell deserve AOTY this year.

Fortnight may have gotten more votes, but there is a rule where an artist can't be nominated twice in this category. LEVII'S JEANS was the probably the Post Malone song with the most votes and Fortnight got kicked out. So then Us had enough votes to be top 5 and nominated. It was probably also helped out by its ballot placement (Abrams being towards the top of an alphabetical list), with Taylor also ofc drawing in voters.

Zero surprises for me and if we did a prediction thread i probably would've gotten 90% right

 

WCBF snub is ridiculous though. It deserved a pop solo and a BMV nom and for me they were obvious contenders.

 

I was also expecting them to snub Charli/Brat since they usually snub acclaimed albums mostly used by the gays… but the hype around it was too big for them to ignore 

 

I think Sabrina might be a surprise. 2 different songs in ROTY and SOTY, Amy Allen Songwriter of the year and Best Engineered album… technically speaking the signs are pointing out for a possible AOTY win. That would be a shock for a lot of people but Billie will most likely get it.

I don't think Taylor will win anything this year. Her best shot is MV and (was) Fortnight on Pop duo but it wasn't even nominated… and even if it was, DWAS is the obvious winner.

I would be ok with it tbh. I think it's a cute album and basically has what it takes for a "perfect" AOTY: big hits, good sales, critical acclaim.

 

However the backlash against her on social media will be huge though
