The irony is that if she wins, she will win in the year that the most female rappers released and she will beat the (alleged) King of Rap, Eminem. It also will be iconic since this album is an ode to her debut. Idk if Future/Metro Boomin submitted. If they did, they might win. But if she wins tho, it will be a perfect commemoration of her career and the perfect time to retire and just be a legacy act. Kendrick is winning the other rap categories tho. The collab/duo one is probably going to Wannabe. If Queen wasn't even nominated then why would the album full of it's rejects be? 2

Blackbiird should have been her Country Duo submission but other than that I agree with you picks. 1

I'm not sure that either of those will, but I'll cross my fingers for Edge of Saturday Night regardless. I agree. But Edge is good too imo and both are virtually nonexistent in the US in terms of chart success so maybe it's not hurting her chances too much.

I would ideally pick Blackbiird for Country too, but I think it might have been rejected/in a disadvantage due to the limited contribution from the featured artists. Plus it's a cover which wouldn't help it either.

Everyone does this. Lady Gaga has submissions in Pop, Film and Rock. Megan Thee Stallion has submissions in Rap, Pop and Rock Childish Gambino has submissions in R&B, Rap, Pop, Jazz and Dance Jacob Collier has submissions in Pop, R&B, Gospel and Global Music Christ Stapleton has submissions in Pop, Rock, Country and American Roots Even Sabrina Carpenter has a submission in Country The point is to submit wherever possible to maximise your chances for nominations. There might be more possibilities in Beyoncé's case, but that's what happens when you break genre barriers. And even if Beyoncé wanted to focus on the submissions with the greatest chance, her easiest wins would've been with II HANDS II HEAVEN in R&B and MY HOUSE in Visual and Dance Pop. Instead, most of her nominations are in Pop which has had its most competitive year this decade (e.g. Billie, Ariana, Taylor, Chappell Roan etc.), and Country in which she hasn't been welcomed in.

Riot Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Lisa and Rosalía have actually a great shot for a BMV nod, considering that in the last few years they had leftfield nominations like FKA twigs, Tove Lo or Jain
Mr. Duff Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Cruel Summer could have won pop solo and potentially ROTY but Taylor focused on TTPD Can Taylor even win anything? Her Grammy wins are always AOTY and Pop Vocal Album, which I don't think TTPD will get (but here's to hoping!).
