xokuba Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Be serious. Few songs are bops (IHHS) I'd give her that, but they won't get anything at the Grammy's.
Green Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Beyoncé did a mistake not submitting Jolene to Country Solo Performance. The Grammy country voters love that song so much that even Pentatonix won a Grammy for Country duo/group performance thanks to a Jolene cover with Dolly

That was her strongest shot at winning SOTY/ROTY It should've been submitted for Best Pop Solo Performance instead of I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.
TiaTamera Posted October 5 Posted October 5 This is actually the best shot Nicki has at winning a Grammy (Best Rap Album). The irony is that if she wins, she will win in the year that the most female rappers released and she will beat the (alleged) King of Rap, Eminem. It also will be iconic since this album is an ode to her debut. Idk if Future/Metro Boomin submitted. If they did, they might win. But if she wins tho, it will be a perfect commemoration of her career and the perfect time to retire and just be a legacy act. Kendrick is winning the other rap categories tho. The collab/duo one is probably going to Wannabe. 1 3
Nefertiti0 Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Beyoncé originally submitted "Bodyguard" & "Levii's Jeans" to R&B Perf and Trad R&B Perf, respectively, but the Recording Academy's Screening Committee moved them to the Pop field. x.com

The somewhat-incestuous looking spongebob D is really affecting her career choices in the worst way. Because it's a remixed recording of the song. That's what the category is for, not for a remix with another artist tacked onto the song. You swore Mariah was about to grab an easy nomination, so now you're throwing around childish digs because you were loud, misinformed and wrong - Any submissions for Wallows or Kings of Leon? I'm curious to see if/what their labels are pushing because they had some strong bodies of work for rock albums this year. 2 1 1

Wicked Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Sturgill Simpson (Johnny Blue Skies) – credited like that Passage Du Desir: AOTY, Country Album, Eng Album Mint Tea: ROTY, Americana Perf Who I Am: SOTY, Country Solo Perf, Country Song Jupiter's Faerie: American Roots Song If The Sun Never Rises Again: Rock Perf He should beat Stapleton in those categories, his album is way better. Jupiter's SOTY should win too. 1
Abracadabra Posted October 5 Posted October 5 RAYE needs to bag that BNA nom she was robbed of last year! 4

I mean look at the competition 😂 The only one that will beat her is Future and Metros album. I personally would rather Glorilla win, but if anyone else wins besides those three (I mean I guess Eminem too, but I didn't listen to his album), then it's rigged. 1 hour ago, Green said: Future & Metro Boomin have more chances to win Rap Album I didn't see it above, unless I missed it.
