She deserves every single one of those nominations. It takes high level of artistry to create such a complex body of work. And I'm glad Grammy's recognized that.

Whether you like it or not (and I fully understand not liking it), living legends are always awarded with Grammy noms if they're still culturally relevant. Hell, The Beatles is getting nominated for AI songs in major categories.

For a certain segment of the voting base, anything Bey releases is an automatic "yes." That block isn't big enough to land her the big awards, but it is big enough to get her nominated everywhere.

Acting shocked the most Grammy awarded artist ever is collecting more Grammy noms is like acting shocked a fork was found in the kitchen.

The formulaic-ness of the grammy nomination:

the usual double-dipping/overlap of most ROTY & SOTY entries

bland radio fodder albums/songs dominating

perpetual recycling of Taylor + Beyonce + Billie + Kendrick

not a big fan of Cowboy Carter to be quite honest. there were other albums that deserved their nods.

Looks like most of the streams the album is getting are from the Grammy committee :gayoncecat3:

It's funny people say Grammys favour her when that's simply what happens when you make quality music? lol that's why she has been nominated for so many different genres. There are all deserved, CC is a diverse album with excelent production from top to bottom. It would be so funny if she got AOTY.

They're probably begging her to perform. Yall will say it had no impact, but all it would take is a performance for her to eat the others girls up that night. Performing American Requiem in particular after this Trump win (thanks GP) would be a whole serve, but she won't perform at all.

I doubt Beyonce or Taylor will ever perform at an awards show ever again :gaycat6:

TTPD made 0 noise outside deranged fans!

No album can sell 6 million units+ in just 6 months without making noise no matter how you spin it.

It's not payola though. And there is no excuse needed to be said about it.

Why is it that Jay-Z is the only person who can buy nominations though?

That's the audacious part of this common demeaning of her awards/nominations.

Undeserved. sh!tboy farter is probably the worst album released this decade. even her fans have stopped streaming it even though it's just few months old. Ariana and Dua deserved. But Grammys love to pander to SJWs so Beyonce nominations were a must from them. This is why trump keeps winning. every thing is a fraud now there is no honesty

Y'all claiming "zero impact" when I Am, Self Titled, and Lemonade were the most acclaimed and widely received releases their respective years, and B'day and Renaissance were some of her most explosive and best collections of sounds, and were all paid dust at the Grammy's... They clearly don't care about impact, at this point it's just about who can suck the committees dick the best.

16 Carriages, the better of her the first 2 singles, is currently trending. CC is a FANTASTIC  album. B*****s are in denial.

It really is, and no one who says otherwise can quite articulate why they believe that is, at least, not with the multitude of reasons that those who think its great can.
