Spamming? Beyoncé didn't even put an ad out for her consideration like most artists do.

The Grammys also have genre committees dedicated to putting the songs in the right categories, the categories that the genre experts believe they fit into.

Also no song was put into a category because it had a piano production, nor because of a featured Americana artist.

+ her team submitted some songs to R&B categories and they moved them to pop

What's the difference between ROTY and SOTY?

Record is about production and Song is about the lyrics

And her fans want us to believe she's "underrated" and "mistreated". Pick a narrative. You CAN'T have it both ways lol

Beyoncé will always be underrated by people like those in this thread belittling her talents and demeaning her achievements by calling them bought and PR and whatnot. And if you don't think even a highly praised superstar can be mistreated, then you're not really acknowledging what people are saying it for or why.

We need to remember that this amount is in part because Beyoncé so brilliantly straddled genres that allowed her to receive nominations in multiple categories.

If you're mad at her total number, if you think your fave should have more, tell your fave to branch out and experiment in genres and see if they can then be recognized in those categories for making great music. If not, don't complain that someone else can and has.

Its almost like they ignore the fact shes literally become the first Black female to top a lot of Country Charts with THE and Cowboy Carter. She literally broke barriers down

The genre spamming she does with submissions definitely requires a bigger discussion on if that even should be allowed. This was clearly marketed as a Country album, and the only genre it really should've gotten noms in was Country.

All of the songs even when mixing/incorporating other genres and sounds still tie to the overall prominent theme of being a Country project. Trying to individually analyze them and then separate them into 15 completely different genres because one has a piano production, one has rapping in a verse, one has an Americana artist featured, etc is silly.

Also besides that, it's borderline greedy and ridiculous she takes nominations and wins from artists who actually put out core music in other genres because she decided to just submit a random deep cut in a lesser genre knowing it'd be carried off her name.

You're mad that Bey can pull off multiple genres. I love it.

and once again, underserved... like what why is she most nominated??

im sorry the album is great and all but it legit didn't have any impact.

at this point its become a joke and she will get called out for it.

It got that many nominations because of the mixture of sounds/songs. Which means it could be nominated in so many genres. It is a great album, but definitely not her best. Plus we all know she'll be snubbed in all the major categories.

She (nearly) always does, doesn't she?

I don't mind, better Bey for CC than Taylor for TTPD

Are there seriously people out there who are questioning how this masterpiece of an album got so many nominations? Anyone who can fix their mouth to try and say it's undeserved cannot be taken seriously. If anyone else made this opus we wouldn't stop hearing about it considering the plethora of material to work with and utilize. I can understand being a bitter ***** but, a stupid one, too? Get real. Péabody is that girl, and it shouldn't be surprising or controversial at this point, still.

had no impact but she became the first black woman in history to get a #1 country single? had no impact but she opened doors for a new generation of black country artists, including Shaboozey, who now has the biggest song of the year and one of the longest-running #1 hit of all time?

How did she get Grammy noms for country categories but snubbed by country award shows?

Well done King B. It's normal for the haters to be pressed because they all secretly with their faves were as talented as Beyonce.
