so with bey going country and charli going dance, is it safe to assume billie, sabrina, chappell, ariana, and taylor will be the pop vocal 5? any potential spoilers??

Addison doesn't have an album out and they're saying she would bring more recognition than LORDE HERSELF just because of one somewhat viral song (that has peaked at #81 on Hot 100 so far :dies:) :suburban: And that's not even mentioning, the fact that tg,sc remix is actually acclaimed (#25 best song of the decade according to Pitchfork)

Lorde remix cant be nominated for best remix bc it doesnt have a different production than the original, Von dutch can bc of ag cook

Billie is more a grammy darling so of course every smart team and label would choose her over lorde even if lorde verse is one of the best written verses of this year

Prism was her last chance, tbh.

This could've made sense, but the production on Guess Remix... is exactly the same as the one from the OG :suburban::suburban:

have you seen the submissions?

guess remix is submited on pop duo while von dutch remix is on best remixed

i'm flabbergasted they didn't submit for melodic rap or the r&b categories tbh

They probably saw how PTTR got moved to pop and didn't even bother

users here defend her on telling charli to ignore song and herself makes the most sense, she never like music executives in grammy committees/industry to begin with and consistent on her brand to keep every move low key is the best for her mentally and well-being. nothing new for lorde fans in general if it's her decision, respect that.

I'm baffled that Dua didn't submit Houdini for Best Dance Recording :psyduck:

it's kinda funny seeing people here always point fingers as to who always gets Grammy's for no reason when that girl has been Billie for a long time and Charli obviously noticed that would help her win

Lol... as if the first condition to agree on hoping on the remix wasn't this

and this. it just makes sense, idk why y'all are ignoring the obvious answer here :rip:

Wait, you're right nnn :dies:

In that case, it makes way more sense :clack:

i know it's a bummer that lorde won't be nominated and the song really deserved a grammy but charli made the right decision on going for the songs that had more chances

I just saw this :deadbanana2:

At least Kacey helped him to win one.

The country voters always vote for Chris Stapleton

Chris and Sturgill could split votes.

JoJo Siwa

Best New Artist
Karma: ROTY, Pop Solo Performance, Best Music Video

Karma was not eligible for SOTY after it was revealed to be a demo from 2012. Only newly written songs are eligible for songwriting awards.

Didn't All to well (10 min. version) get a SOTY nomination?  :rip:

this gives me anxiety cuz i remember 'calm down' was a locked afrobeats category WIN and it lost the eligible time being released 1 week earlier.

talking about this, the same thing happened with Tate's greedy, right?

how were her submissions?

Melodic Rap is empty, Big Mama could grab a nom. :deadbanana4:

Why didn't Megan send Mamushi there, worst submissions ever I swear.
