Yes but I fear I'm getting fat :thing:

I know they're overly promoted on Tik Tok but get a walking pad. I've lost almost 15 pounds since I started walking in January! (along with eating slightly better)

Last year I got a completely remote job with a nice pay raise. I am pretty much left to my own devices all day. I rarely have meetings/calls. I absolutely love it.

This is me at the moment too. Maybe I should be more appreciative of my job.

I work in Human Resources and I see women in a whole new light. They are behind 99% of the workplace drama and talk too damn much.

I don't hate the work per se, but the pay is bad and I hate having to work from the office. Having to commute is annoying and I hate people, so I wish I could work from home. :pancake:

I'm a social media manager for a large company!

Does it annoy you when people make jokes about gay unpaid interns being the ones running social media when that is never the case?

LOL it doesn't necessarily annoy me as much as it's just funny people genuinely believe an 18 year old with no experience is controlling the most visible aspect of any major company :rip:

Every single tweet, story post and even comment on LinkedIn requires a series of approvals that takes usually a week of planning. Like it's really no joke because automatically you are representing the entire executive team and millions/billions of dollars when you hit post :bird: so it's lowkey stressful. It's not a hard job but it requires extreme attention to detail!

i just went from being a marketing exec for a small business where they trusted me fully and i could just post on the socials whatever i wanted, now im in a larger company with a full approval process and systems in place and it is pulling me DOWN :deadbanana:i feel like im working at a snail's pace . idk how u do it sis

I love it. I make nearly six figures doing next to nothing all day. I gym, sleep in late, pursuer my creative hobbies and get to spend time outside. It's incredible!

Oooooh, what is your career? How did you get into it? :soda:

EDIT: I just saw your response above lol

I do creative work in an industry I'm super passionate about, working for a brand that's been a dream of mine for so long and honestly... I think the issue is I don't like to work :rip:

At the end of the day, work feels like work. But its like the cheesy things people say, I just have to remind myself to be grateful and that's when I can appreciate where I am

I hated my desk job; it didn't last for too long—just seven months. That was the worst and most sluggish I've ever felt in my life. I'd rather be on my feet and moving around for eight hours a day, rather than sitting behind a desk. I like anything that keeps me up and active, which is what I'm currently doing now. A corporate desk job just isn't for me; at least, still not now.

hell no but its huge pay with great insurance and lots of benefits plus its work from home so realistically out of 8 hours you never really work half. id never work a real job
