Because she CAN (your favs don't, that's right) and she can play with her voice. This is called versatility. interesting fact - This ELECTRONIC song was recorded before Gaga's debut She will always be one step ahead of your favs <3 Before Gaga, but after Goldfrapp. And you can tell it's a shameless ripoff 1
Papi Juancho Posted May 19 Posted May 19 I know we're cool... C-cool, uh uuuuooooouuuOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEEEEEEEEEIE YEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAH 3
Blackout2006 Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Gwen Stefani gives the song a charming, effervescent, and glittery personality. I could never imagine this song being sung by anyone else. 1
ToMmY Posted May 19 Posted May 19 I'm so glad I live in the same universe where the only correct person sang that masterpiece. 2 2

QuanticXplosion Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Imagine the dynamics and range this woman has a vocalist. My Goodness, she is truly one of a kind. 2 1

Xtripped Posted May 19 Posted May 19 This thread is made at least twice every year. Cool was written for Xtina at the very early stages of Stripped when she was dating Dallas Austin. Of course fans of whisperers only talk about the huge Xtina voice but she's capable of sing whatever she wants. Other one trick ponies can't relate.

If there were any other acts I would've liked a version of Cool from, it would be the Sugababes who were also working with Dallas Austin a lot at the time for Taller In More Ways. Cool would've fit well on that tracklist and I can see the girls doing a good job with it. Omg this is spot on! Never noticed it but Cool does sound like it would fit perfectly on TIMW! It reminds me of Ugly. Gwen's voice is perfect for the song but now i kinda wanna hear a version by Mutya and Heidi 1
