Look. The tiny section where she sings in the clip above showcases an unsupported breathy tone that is all over the place with flat notes every now and then.

Stopped reading here. If you're going to resort to lies then there's no point

she sounds almost exactly like she does on the record and she wasn't trying all out. She's standing there in rehearsal mode

Which is proving my point. I even tried to give you a fair chance by explaining. You are so far beyond saving :rip:

What exactly is your point? To impose your obviously biased criticism? In the video she sounds like what she sounds like in the record and she sounds clear. There's nothing more to it.

It's not biased? It's objectively based on vocal technique and hearing. :rip: You quite clearly don't use either.

Now stop quoting me if you're not going to listen to anything I'm saying. It's annoying.

Where did you mention actual vocal technique? She's not shaky nor out of control so maybe you need to get your hearing checked.

everyone knows that's not her natural singing voice and you can clearly see in the video she's not in performance mode.

you want me to stop quoting you because I'm calling your bias out and how you're in here pretending you know anything about vocal technique or what I and other users know and listen to.

and while we're at it, that's not how you use a question mark. You're not asking a question.

i have been studying music and vocal technique my entire life, thank you. I think I'm at least more qualified than you LOL.

This is so grasping for things becuase you have nothing else to say,  I-

Yes, if you read it with the correct emphasis, it is. I'm questioning your sanity for claiming I'm biased, while denying it.

:deadbanana4: I really didn't know Britney stans were still this oblivious in 2024. I thought they'd at least come to realisation that Britney's biggest weakness was her vocals. Some of them are apparently still stuck in full-blown denial. :rip:

And you know what I studied how?

needless to say this is the internet where anyone can claim to be anything

the only grasping being done here is you pretending to know what anonymous users in a forum know.

i chose not to continue reading your post because you come off as a "I know more than doctors" during covid. You also come off as not even having watched the entire video. Britney even says "I don't really know this version" before starting FTBOMBH

the valley intonation you speak of does not require a question mark, therefore you're using it incorrectly.

example: therefore youre using it incorrectly?

No one here nor Britney herself have ever claimed her to be the best vocalist but to come into a thread of a 25 year old video of a moment when she still bothered singing live says more about you.

and to say her voice is her biggest weakness is insanely ignorant as she's literally known for her signature sound (which again, on atrl is common knowledge that it isn't her natural singing voice). Didn't you study music theory or whatever?

I loved Britney's voice back in her debut era. It sucks she was forced to use the baby voice most of her career.

Beautiful but those loud ass out of sync drums? Didn't know Charli XCX was active in 2000
