duybeeGAshantiGA Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Havent listened to both albums (Tortured and Hit Me Hard - are thesr girls masochists or sumn with these titles) but 1 thing I know for sure is that Hit Me Hard has much better and inch resting production. The other one doesnt deserve a single stream.

Brooklyn Baby Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Spoiler But yes - after two full listens of HMHAS, it's already better than TTPD

From the production Ive heard on Billie's previous albums produced by Finneas? From what most people said about the production from both albums?

Correct... so not because of your own opinion by actually listening to the music, but by what you heard from others. Proving my point. 1

All of those Tay albums have lessor production compared to Billie's albums.

How can you make sound judgments on projects you haven't listened to? Once you listen to both and conclude that one is better, then come back with your actual thoughts.

Girl what they do different things Have you never appreciated different artists for their different output? I don't listen to Radiohead and expect Calvin Harris, and vice versa Appreciate both. They have strengths they excel in, and we love them both for those reasons 1
Dear Reader Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Billie just released her best album and you're all obsessing over Taylor. As a stan of both, I'm winning this year 2

Sorry I am not going to give Tortured or Hit Me Hard any stream.
JoeAg Posted May 17 Posted May 17 As a swiftie, there's a clear difference where Billie's music is a lot better! Spoiler but at this point in their careers it's 100% true
JoeAg Posted May 17 Posted May 17 that's not to say I don't still like a few tracks from TTPD, but yeah there's a stark difference in artistic progression imo

Billie is on her 3rd attempt. At that point, Taylor kept evolving her sound and finding what made her comfortable. This will be more of a fair comparison once Billie is on her 11th album! I can see people getting tired of Finneas production one day, and saying the same things they say about Jack. Couldn't be me though, Finneas is one of the best music producers out there to me. 1
Bartender Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Feels like **** after knowing what Taylor is capable of (especially how almost ALL of the anthology tracks clear the standard)

I do still like parts of TTPD, like I said. me saying it's a lot better doesn't mean TTPD is necessarily bad, it's just not on the same musical level imo. I appreciate both of their outputs for sure. please don't condescend with me, if that's cool 4
