My experiences in this discussion have been overwhelmingly positive and gleeful. It's some of the others that are coming off as grim and glum and gloom and doom, tell THEM it's not that serious. That's been true since 2016. On any given day you can find random tweets with hundreds if not thousands of likes of people disliking her, her actions, her music, her career, etc. thankfully as a fan I've learned her likability on twitter has literally no correlation with her likability in the real world. She'll be fine, the Celine Dion thing earlier this year was also big online, way bigger than this Billie stuff will end up being, and that literally went nowhere 2

It took a lot of reflection and discussion for me to not vilify whiteness in some capacities. It's an unhealthy albeit understandable trauma response. 2 1 1

Imagine selling 3M copies first week of an album that's most remembered for how "bad" it was. I have heard nobody outside of Twitter talking about this at all (I promise I'm not exaggerating either). I really hope she truly is doing this for the sake of wanting her music heard by EVERYONE.
