Rolling Stone gave it an 80

MC score will settle in the mid 80s

They are so random. They can give 5/5 stars for pop records with questionable value and label them as "instant classics".

I think mid 80s is a very fair score for this

Watch people say the album is not that good once the metascore goes down.

Ari had my favorite AOTY until this came out. It's just so innovative, fresh and surprising. A+++++

It deserves to remain in the 90s but apparently poptimism is over or something.

But some reviews literally hinge on how she transforms pop? Like yeah, the album transcends pop, but she's still viewed as a pop artist.

91 on MC based on 10 reviews

I doubt it will drop to mid 80's with only 10 reviews or so left

Likely 88 finish for this, very strong reception

I don't stan Billie, her last album was not interesting. But this is a magnificent album. Deserves all the praise.

They are "instant classics" when they come with a big check, baby :fan:

Otherwise, they get the regular review treatment

This will remain in the 90s. Some of you said RO would end in 65 and ended up with a solid 73.
