Mandalore Posted May 22 Posted May 22 Overall I think there's a recency bias to this list because it's meant to get people to engage with the albums more but the overall concept of "ranking" albums is so subjective? trivial? random even? It's really nothing to pop your veins over.

I haven't seen you commented before but it seems like all your post are dedicated to Beyoncé? Pls. Streaming aka real evidence of a good album that people come back to over and over again because it's good is way more indicative than what members on this limited site say. 1 1

ATRL Moderator feelslikeadream Posted May 22 ATRL Moderator Posted May 22 Can y'all stop reporting off-topic posts in here when people are discussing opinions on albums, which is kind of the point of this thread? If someone starts talking politics or something, by all means, report that. Anyway, folklore should have been on the list instead of 1989 1

You want us to actually believe Ed Sheeran is a better artist than Stevie Wonder just because he has more streams? 2 1
Suilen Posted May 22 Posted May 22 If only that no. 1 placement could inspire Ms. Lauryn Hill to make another album 1

Cloröx Posted May 22 Posted May 22 Places for Top 100 are so limited unlike Rolling Stone's 500 GOAT list hence the only artist that I think deserve to have multiple spots is Radiohead. I would remove certain albums and replace them: Sufjan Stevens, Illinois replacing Prince, Sign O' the Times Arcade Fire, Funeral replacing Beyonce, Self-Title Fiona Apple, Fetch the Bolt Cutter replacing The Beatles, Revolver 2

Her album is so revered that if the follow-up was a dud there's a risk that it would ruin her legacy. And the fact that she's been able to live her life and continue touring for 25 years off ONE album is so impressive. 1

UnusualBoy Posted May 22 Posted May 22 If there were gonna put a Bey album in the top 10, it should've been ST not the overrated Lemonade and then that lullabies snorefest Blonde album in the top 10, tf?

Miracle Whip Posted May 22 Posted May 22 1989 an album that has Shake It Off, Blank Space and Welcome To New York made it but Butterfly an album that has The Roof, Breakdown and Close My Eyes didn't….. 3
Burn Posted May 22 Posted May 22 From the 10 albums revealed today notice which one is causing all the conversation. Oh Beyoncé you've never lied. 2

Especially since Lorde is guaranteed 2. They're the perfect combination of commercially, critically, and culturally successful peaks. Every other pop girl will get 1 at best though. I told you there is no way Taylor will have multiple while Beyonce has one . No matter the commercial success, when it comes to critical acclaim and legendary status, Beyoncé will always come before Taylor. Beyoncé is the greatest mainstream female artist of the last 25 years. Edited May 22 by chaklux 5
