Also, counting the straight white boys favorites that are left to put on this top 10 like Nirvana, be sure there will be TONS of greats left to dust. And if Robyn is top 100 and Kacey, Blackout should be on the list. This is ridiculous. Not to mention 1989 being the worst re recording and being top 20 lol gotta laugh tbh, as a longtime celine fan, i don't really expect any critic lists to include anything about celine, they rarely include her lol
Fitzswiftie Posted May 22 Posted May 22 So the teased 8 are Beatles, Beyonce, Frank, Kendrick, Lauryn, Nirvana, Prince and Stevie, with the non-teased two being Amy and Michael?
Slamless Posted May 22 Posted May 22 amy does not deserve top 10 but with her not on here yet i guess its almost a sure bet sigh moo OUT i guess
Stepfon Posted May 22 Posted May 22 Lemonade - Beyoncé (Lemon) Purple Rain - Prince (Dove Crying) Miseducation- Lauryn Hill (Pencil) GKMC - Kendrick (Mini van) Nevermind - Nirvana (Dollar) Abbey Road - Beatles (Cross Walk) Blond - Frank Ocean (Ivy) Back to Black - Amy Winehouse (Rose) Thriller by Michael Jackson
romas_ld Posted May 22 Posted May 22 pretty sure pencil is actually Taylor's glitter pan, which means lover made top 10 1
HardBambi Posted May 22 Posted May 22 Anything is possible in this list.. I wouldn't be surprised if Cowboy Carter makes an appearance in the top 5 1

Is a #55 on the Hot 100 the same as a #18? Or on the AFI Top 100 Movies ranking? Or on any Top Universities list? Yes, any entry making these lists is something commendable, but the rankings exist for a reason and it is up to each individual person to decide whether or not they want to attach importance to them. But just as '1989' won't be in the same breath as the inevitable number 1 album on this list, 'ANTI' is not in the same breath as '1989', or '21' or 'Revolver', and likewise something ranked in the 90s region is not in the same breath as 'ANTI' either, at least within this particular framework established by Apple Music experts & industry people. This isn't a group project. Triggered. None of the parallels and comparisons you attempted to do make any sense. And going with your logic, the best albums of SZA, Lana, Gaga, Madonna, Sade & more are not in the same breath as Rihanna's best.

Raspberries Posted May 22 Posted May 22 My guess is that the 2 not teased are Thriller and To Pimp a Butterfly

Celine may be a vocal legend, but her albums have never been acclaimed. Butterfly (or Emancipation) would've been a good choice for Mariah, but there's only 100 positions. Some people were bound to be left off. Edited May 22 by Virgos Groove 1
Virgos Groove Posted May 22 Posted May 22 And when the lemon ends up being the Lemonade Mouth soundtrack, then what???

Jamie Starr Posted May 22 Posted May 22 I love how Maggie Rogers raves about Partition and everyone is just nodding their heads without even realizing that was on S/T.
