The Beyoncé and Rihanna fans being surprised that the Diamond AOTY winner is more liked than albums that are only acclaimed on twitter :suburban:

What Beyonce albums are only acclaimed on twitter?

I did expect Pet Sounds, Rumours, Blue and maybe Ok Computer to be top 10. All of them being out is a bit of a shocker.

So top 10 will probably have

Nirvana

Amy

Kendrick

Michael Jackson

Lauryn

The Doors

???

???

Genuinely curious, do Beyoncé fans consider self-titled to be her best album???

It is her magnum opus, not necessarily the best. That was the album that cemented her legendary status . She wasn't the first to do it but re-invented surprise release with that drop. Made the music industry change release date with it, and she served quality with it too.

I will NOT be gaslighting into believing that 1989 is a pop bible or pop perfection when the opening song is WTNY

Right I forgot it isn't one album per artist. David Bowie hasn't appeared yet also. He's definitely gonna be there.

Edit: nevermind he has lmao. I can't read.

The albums that all have 90+ scores on Metacritic? The first two have made year end lists and I believe both of those albums won grammys...?:rip: How is that "only acclaimed on twitter"?

Tbf the opening song on Beyoncé is Pretty Hurts which is very mid but the rest of the album makes up for it.

OT: I wouldn't put 1989 there even tho I love the album and they dared to put the awful re-recorded version?? :rip: okay

Yeah, I was a little surprised to see WWAF so high and I do agree that I'd probably rank ST higher. I do love WWAF though. I haven't listened to 1989 so I can't actually give an opinion on that tbh

'1989' the pop bible perfection you are. :clap3:

The random meltdowns over Beyoncé's entry as if she won't have a 2nd entry in the top 10. :lakitu:

Also screaming at some users thinking 'ANTI' even belongs in the same breath as Taylor's or Beyoncé's top albums.
