hawx23 Posted May 20 Posted May 20 (edited) Are they really going to put Taylor in the top 20 above the Beatles 😅 Edited May 20 by hawx23 1
Isaiah Posted May 20 Posted May 20 They're gonna put 1989 or folklore dangerously high and set her up for some Twitter lashings (thankfully Twitter lashings don't ever translate to real life tho ) 2
liquiddiamonds Posted May 20 Posted May 20 I mentioned they could add Billie if they felt like a gen z representation and here it is

liquiddiamonds Posted May 20 Posted May 20 (edited) I also had mentioned Daft Punk and Tribe Called Quest as a shot for electronica and hip hop, respectively. Taylor definitely top 20. Lauryn, Joni on lock for women. Fiona as a long shot for alternative representation. we still have: Nirvana Kendrick Jay-Z Michael Jackson Beach Boys Arcade Fire Edited May 20 by liquiddiamonds 3
Goaty Posted May 20 Posted May 20 I know these lists can be a wildcard but I was sure The Beatles were a lock for top 10 1

TPAB, The Blueprint and Thriller seem like the obvious choices, but they've thrown some curveballs (like with the Beatles choice). If they choose Off the Wall (the superior MJ album), maybe this list can be redeemed. 2

.Odyssey. Posted May 20 Posted May 20 Christ, it's gonna be, like, Midnights at the top of this list, isn't it

holyground13 Posted May 20 Posted May 20 I predict Red (Taylor's Version) for Taylor but I could also see Speak Now and Folklore. Michael Jackson should be Thriller imo but Off The Wall is also fantastic. Stevie should be top 3 with Songs In The Key, but I think Innervisions would be a great choice too. I would adore Hejira for Joni. Since they've been throwing some curveballs I'd be so glad to see this one. And ofc Gaye and Hill up high.
