Feanor Posted May 12 Share Posted May 12 Kim Kardashian still remains the most famous and successful member of her family, but for some time in the latter half of the 2010s, Kim was arguably overshadowed by Kylie Jenner in pop culture, who seemed like she well on her way to becoming the new queen of the Kardashian/Jenner clan: Her lip kits were everywhere, she was the first of her family to become a billionaire*, her pregnancy announcement video got massive views on YT, her social media presence was immense and she just generally had a strong grip over youth culture at the time. It seemed like the Paris → Kim evolution was happening again, just this time it was Kim → Kylie… But now in 2024, Kim is pretty much back to being the most relevant of her family. Kim has said many times that she would share everything about her life with the world if she could, which is a stark contrast from Kylie, who is much more reclusive and prefers to keep her life as private as possible. Even throughout the many seasons of their show, Kylie and Kendall are the most private core members of the family, and a majority of their screen time is centered around their businesses. Kylie had her time with her couple of new faces during peak Snapchat/Insta, then when it became trendy to dance on tiktok she was overshadowed by some new girls (that also have lowkey faded away) and then when having diverse content and some personality became a norm she lost even more space for the Bella Haddids, Julia Foxes and Emma Chamberlains of the world. She's still uber-famous and uber-rich, just not setting the trends. If anything Kendall was the one Jenner that had some consistency, but she also lost a lot of ground once Bella shot up Kim always had some personality and she knows how to play with trends.
