Mtjjproducer Posted May 10 Posted May 10 This is so stupid. As a musician NOBODY uses a damn iPad to make music. You need a Mac to run a music daw software. You can do like slight demos or control the computer on an iPad but it has to be transferred to a Mac. 2
ariesgroove Posted May 10 Posted May 10 this just looks like those videos on social media that go viral with an ipad promo tied into it what is the hullabaloo for 1

A hydraulic press smushing instruments and creative tools into an extremely thin and light device, like there is nothing inherently wrong with that. I think it's the way they show the instruments being crushed/exploding outwards that is throwing people off... if the instruments were instead absorbed or something into the iPad, no one would care. It's just an iPad ad, it's not that serious.

Apple keeps trying to convince people to think iPads can do all these things but if so then also just open up iPadOS to actual pro apps. Or ffs at the minimum — give us a real browser. A $150 Chromebook can often be more useful since I can actually open any website that doesn't force me to use a gimped app version of a site (like Office or whatever). Edited May 10 by hawx23 1 1
