Creepy, disrespectful, and honestly makes the community as a whole look really bad because it feeds right into the narrative that gay people try to force straight people to be gay when they're not. You'd think that people who are actually gay would know better than to constantly try and force a sexuality onto someone who's repeatedly said they're not that sexuality, but there's always a strong lack of respect for any celebrity when they do that. People make up their minds based on absolutely nothing but things they see from the outside and spend their lives speculating on people's private business like they're somehow entitled to it. People believe they've got a right to comment on people's private lives as if they know them and don't care a bit for how invasive and scummy it is to constantly bring it up and reduce someone down to speculation. We cannot in one breath ask for people to respect us and our identities if we're not willing to in turn respect theirs when they've explicitly told us what it is. It's no better than a straight person saying "you're not gay, you're just confused/lying/whatever." Assigning someone a sexuality that goes against what they themselves have identified as theirs is an incredibly gross thing to do, and it only happens because they want to sleep with him. I will never understand how some people could be immature enough to not see how disturbing it is to constantly do this with male celebrities, or really anyone for that matter, especially because they base it all on stereotypes that they get super mad at other people for using against them.
