Because it's the only exciting album she's released (apart from the more polished version of "Teenage Dream").

Because most of the GP was on the Taylor hate bandwagon back when it was released, so they are now trying to make up for the lost time.

It's the closest Taylor Swift has done to serving flavor (in six songs anyway).

 

6 bangers that are totally different from what you expect from Taylor.

 

Then with "Delicate" as the warning shot of the blandness that's to come, it starts devolving into yet another boring, typical Taylor Swift fluff as soon as "Gorgeous" begins. It never recovers from the blandness from there.
