Nova May boldly declares a revival of iconic 2010s tunes. While some are undeniably catchy, her overall aesthetic and sound is giving Britney/Gaga/Kesha

will she achieve her goal? Is she the next main pop girl?

It really does sound like a mix of those, from the early 2010s :dies:

is the 2010s trend coming sooner then we thing? :eli:
(altho hyperpop literally took inspiration from the electro-pop of the early 10s)

I hope so, but it has to be produced by quality producers.

i actually like her, bab3 station is a bop! very much giving 2010s though i have yet to hear the gaga influences yet. i'll finish listening to her discog!

edit: i definitely hear britney and kesha influences! but i'm not hearing gaga.

It kinda knocks honestly. Her aesthetic is very tired and old at this point but :gaycat7:

Mr Bus Driver is a bop but overall her image feels very… forced? It's not genuine like Slayyyter's debut era :michael:

I've seen a lot of her Tiktoks saying her song (I think it was Mr Bus Driver) is 2011 Femme Fatale outtake/Early 2010s Ke$ha based, and I'm sure she's a sweet girl, but when your branding is based on someone else, you're kinda f***ed from the get go. I get the nostalgia thing, but you have to put your own spin on it.
