"radical optimism" is the "try this" (p!nk) of the 20's?

in 2003 p!nk released her third album "try this" and it was a downfall compared to her successful sophomore era "missundaztood", this is the same thing that happened to dua with her new album after the release of "radical optimism".

both albums had singles with a good reception in Europe meanwhile those singles were not a great success in the US.

then in 2006 p!nk released her fourth album "i'm not dead" and she smashed with her singles "who knew", "stupid girls" and "u + ur hand".

do you guys think dua can do a re-peak in the US after this album?

I definitely think Dua can have a re-peak after this era.

Having a "flop" era and then coming back strong isn't a new thing for pop girls.

Madonna, Nelly Furtado, Britney Spears, etc are also good examples of this.

I think Dua will have a Kylie-like trajectory... some hits here and there in the US but way bigger in Europe and everywhere else. Her team is trying in the US but i feel like they'll eventually give it up and just let it be this way, mainly focusing in Europe.

Gurl I made the exact same thread yesterday

The answer is yes which means her "Last to Know" and "I'm not Dead" era is coming :jonnycat:

Most girls won't comeback from a flop era, very few did. We will never know which version Dua belongs, but all in all, she needs to work fast and get a new era than milking this era. People are still interested in listening to her, for a few years, new girls will take that place.
