brraap Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Catching up on this beef which is going at 100 miles a minute is insane The best writer in the rap game is not afraid to call out the Drake machine, and we love to see it

Virgos Groove Posted May 6 Posted May 6 The difference in quality between Family Matters and The Heart Part 6 is crazy, you can tell Drake is feeling the pressure. 4 1
TryMe Posted May 6 Posted May 6 I do think this will hurt Drake his future succes. It's just in the realm of Kanye, Doja, Nicki, Lil Nas X. People won't check your stuff anymore.

To frame Drake as "dedicating his life to hip hop" & Kendrick as a random boring rapper... Yikes Na. I definitely prefer the female rap side of things, and this whole thing is ridiculous. But my opinion is that of a casual observer of male rap, and that's fine even though its different from most people here. It is true that for over 15 years now, Drake has dropped multiple hits, put tons of rappers on, and toured with them. He has promoted the genre as a whole in the way none of his peers had been able to especially the last few years, and every time, he would use the opportunity to put guys on. Wanting to get him out of here only feeds kendrick's ego, because he cant do what Drake has done for his peers. Drake has been the most consistent hitmaker of rap music, and that's why I called him dedicated. I know Kendrick is acclaimed and successful, but the way he is coming at drake feels like obsessive hatred-because what is really his motive? Not a fan of Drake at all, but I recognize his value. He was mixed and corny, and not like them all 15 years when folks wanted to use him to further their careers.Literally, the have all benefited from Drake at one point in their careers. And now that they have issues, and cant use him anymore, they want to destroy his reputation and put him out? Future and Metro's tour is currently flopping right now, after two recent no 1 albums, and Metro is out there worried about diss tracks. What is surprising to me is seeing how fickle the audience is. I don't enjoy bandwagoning, and this feels messed up. I just feel like Drake has done too much to deserve this. He lost this battle last week, because the audience has already picked a side regardless of what he drops now. I hope he just stops and refocuses his efforts on whats really important. All that being said, both of them have crossed the lines, and are throwing around disgusting accusations that neither of them even care for. With as much progress that has been made, the fact that the most attention the genre is getting right now is due to two top rappers tearing each other down is truly awful. 2 4

Kanye had a number 1 single just weeks ago and Vultures 1 was well received and still one of the biggest albums of the year. PTTR was recently a big hit for Doja. And although I can't stand the woman Nicki is on a successful tour right now. 4
Blue Rose Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Kendrick doesn't even need to do anything else because the entire timeline is picking apart Drake's lyrics for him and clocking him 1

brokee Posted May 6 Posted May 6 I wonder if Kendrick going to respond diss title would be something like Scary Hours 4 since he used drake's timestamp title and drake took Kendrick's heart part series as a title

Scarlet Deluxe made almost no noise. Vultures yes but before Vultures he didn't had much succes. Nicki her tour is getting bashed left and right, besides she had one week of succes and then it was like everybody forgot about PF2. 2

Eh, I feel like Kanye's decline had more to do with the music sucking than anything else. Donda 2 and Vultures simply aren't it. Donda came out after the MAGA stuff and was still his biggest album in years. 2
St. Charles Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Honestly though if Kendrick knows something about Drake being a predator, why didn't he allude to anything in particular? Everything has been very vague so far. Does he know something or not?

He probably does, but you have to step carefully because Drake being like that is one thing, but there's 100 of guys around Drake doing to same. In a right world it should all be aired out, but Kendrick would probably be in a lot more trouble than he wants to be then Drake was a part of Young Money and we all know those people are freaky and not right in the head
Relampago. Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Thank you Drake for being the biggest loser of the week so it's not Dua 3
