Hector Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Annoyed the racist is ahead of Dua but #3 is a good position with those figures
Green Posted May 7 Posted May 7 I hope Dua can snatch top 2. The gap is not that big The problem will be the second week because the streams are tragic 1
ChrisTheLoner Posted May 7 Posted May 7 #3 is great and same peak as FN with stronger pure sales I hope she can continue to grow in predictions to beat Morgana and go #2 2

KKCuteCat Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Some girls actually think that's a good number for Dua ? Not sure if they are being sacastic 1

Truth Teller Posted May 8 Posted May 8 70k is solid for Dua without a big hit to push the numbers up. It shows there's some level of organic interest and a cute little fanbase. 5 1
Forevermore. Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Not a great trajectory for Dua honestly. She should not be struggling to fight for #2 with these numbers against a year-old album after an era like FN and DTN. It's such a shame because her being #3 under all these circumstances shows that the support and interest are there. It's just that she's not serving what needed to be served. Had the album been better and the rollout was better managed with a proper hit (at minimum Illusion) she could have easily been clearing 120k. I'd like to see her come back from this. The album is DOA so I hope she goes back to the studio instead of trying to salvage it with multiple editions. But most importantly.. fire the dad.
Axolotl Posted May 8 Posted May 8 People can't be serious if they think this is actually okay especially coming from an Era like FN. 1 1

Have a huge fan base only help you in terms of pure sales, while the GP should stream her album if they like it. The album doesn't seem to have legs either. Anyway, anything less than 100K is seemly bad for her
ericcartman Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Taylor still killing it. Next week is the first week for a big name to release if they want have a crack at #1 but even that's debatable.
Cruel Summer Posted May 8 Posted May 8 I wonder if Taylor will hold strong enough to snatch a few more weeks throughout the summer if there are gaps between releases. It would be nice for this to reach five weeks or more - and extra nice if it made it to the ten week mark eventually.
Sawk Posted May 8 Posted May 8 The way I'm carrying her stream rn, I've been streaming this more than twice everyday DUA PLS GET UP AND PROMOTE B*TCH 2 1
aesthetic bih Posted May 8 Posted May 8 This is cute for her. Especially this album doesn't have a DSN to carry it at all 5
Tm4074 Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Idk maybe because I have more realistic expectations for Dua 68k is a solid result for her after the subpar streaming performance of the album. She never built a fanbase so this is what happens when you don't have the hits or a giant industry push to make the hits stick. She's dependent upon her last hit. Coming off FN smash era or not, she doesn't have the fanbase to carry her through an underperformance.
