52k pure is good. It does prove that she managed to build somewhat of a stanbase in the US too.

That's true. I'm gonna give her 2 week streams this afternoon.

hopefully she has a hit or two to keep this afloat

84k? THAT'S more like it :clap3:The early predictions were abysmal, this number is much more fitting for Dua's stature in the US.

84K debut :WAP:  Dua WON! :clap3:

53K Pure sales :flame: we outsold Taylor (51k) & Seventeen (50k)

We went from 55k to 84k debut :alexz:

The fact that Dua has great physical sales is proof she has somehow built a fanbase. Small, but it's there. Too bad it's the GP that said no to her now. Longevity will be a struggle.

I don't think it's the GP saying no, rather a terrible rollout.

i was so worried because i thought it was just going to decline during the whole week. :clap3:

it probably would have reached #1 if she released  before ttpd with illusion tho :deadbanana4:

Ofc ATRL will now act as if these are amazing numbers :dies:

A "MPG" not being able to crack 100k is a disaster.

84k :clap3:

Massive overperformance from original predictions and a much higher opening than FN :clap3:

Huge numbers for the alleged faceless, fanbaseless lady :clap3:

Those are solid #s for Dua. Had she had a big hit she could've gone for 100k. She should just push this era and see what happens.

Would this be week 65 or 66 for SOS if it sneaks in the Top 10 on Billboard this week?

Those are actually pretty solid numbers and much higher than I expected

WAIT! 85k would be AMAZING tbh. Indicates a healthy growth in the US. If she manages to turn things around and get a proper hit from the album this may actually end up doing solid SPS figures when the era is said and done.

84k is huge wow

Imagine if it had a PTTR or Greedy sized hit :jonnycat:

84k with no hits is lowkey impressive for her :clap3:

We need Falling Forever to go #1 now

Completely agree. People are wrong when they say she has no fanbase, it's indeed the GP that is missing. I'm still hoping she can have more hits in the future, it's way too soon to completely bury her.

Uhh... not only keeps exceeding (UK/US) but on many weeks that's not just easily 'enough for #1' but 83k+ is verry respectable/solid #s in 2024 for a white female who does Euro Dance from the UK & not named Adele (or Taylor)

ESP when there's only been 1 textbook hit w/ any kind of longevity (mostly on radio only).

Streaming was mediocre at best (fact). + that song has been out SIX months in a country that has the attention span of a gnat lol.

Love Houdini (up there some FN songs for me). But I think it's actually more of Dua's STAR power finally elevating in the US (while during FN was more the music). Not really 'faceless' but barely known then.

This moment is kind of reminding me (impact wise) of when she did the 2021 Grammy's which revived OG Levitating. Clearly, SNL & maybe the Times Square & Time Magazine etc...gave a def boost. But esp SNL.

lmao.

the way this forum feels like it must use so many descriptors and adjectives and qualifiers to justify any and everything is quite sad.

Exactly, but let's not forget she recently had a very successful arena tour in the USA, she clearly has an fanbase
