Why isn't Hello pulling more daily streams?

It's being outstreamed by WWWY/LITD and is on par with SML/AIA while being the lead single to this huge come back/album. The song was everywhere and it's lowkey doing average among the other 25 songs.

It's also being easily outstreamed by the 21 singles:

I'd would be surprised If It had more streams than +329k.

Because her other hit songs are better + this was meme'd to death at the time.

Because we're all playing it on cd still

Because the song is being played by the 20 million+ people who bought it on CD

Karma for overshadowing the superior Hello release of 2015.

Wow my favourite song of her Set fire to the rain doing 1M :clap3:

I think it served its purpose as her comeback at the time but I don't think it's a big of a classic as the singles from 21, it's doing ok.

I'm actually more surprised to see that SFTTR is outstreaming RITD and SLY.

What do you want us to say SWIFTIE?

That adole is a flop?
That she is #over?
That no one cares about Adele?

what do you want to hear? Say it !
open up your mouth.

be a MAN

Because whenever I want to listen to Adele, I turn off Spotify, drive 2 hrs to my parents home, dig through their CD collection, plug in their CD player and hit play.

come on ATRL, think.

I think as a single Hello burned out faster than any single from 21. I love the song but I played it to death and it was hella overplayed tbh and I assume other people think or did the same.

This site's (and one particular fandom's) obsession with Spotify streams is just :deadbanana4:

since unlike her other songs, this has been overplayed a lot due to it being a massive gigantic hit.

just right now someone by the shop was screaming "hello" and people be singing the Adele hello

it's that reference a lot and must be a big reason why it is not revisited by the streams unlike her other hidden gems.

Fact: before SFTTR it was WUTB that was having such big streams even before LITD and Skyfall was even recently.

Maybe because it's the most relevant indicator in 2024? :rip:

she has better/stronger hits.

WWWY and LITD are better songs.

Streaming is weird, very dependent on playlisting and songs randomly going viral. "Hello" is still massively more famous than any other song from 25.

Hello is pecluar cause as a massive fan I still love it and play it back to back when im in the mood.

the gag is that mood is far and few in between these days. it was overplayed a lot back in the day and so people are giving 25's better  other hits a chance which they should.

it would be great if it goes viral for its 10th anniversary next year tho. we havent had such a global ballad hit this good since.

Everyone already has the #1 smash in 30+ countries on disc and CD

Spotify is not here for 5+ minute songs
