sweetblindness
I think Billie will be fine. I'm not a huge fan but critics eat her music up. I think Katy and Lana could be the next victims depending on the quality of their respective albums.

SuperCiC1
Melanie Martinez will become the new Taylor Swift and be crowned songwriter of the century.
Blackout2006
Billie will always have critical appeal wrapped around her finger unless the album is really bad. This does not seem the fate for her upcoming album in light of recent reviews from insiders. Plus, alternative music is enjoyed by critics. Obsession
It could go wrong for Billie - but she has the alternative tax and she shares the voice of the new generation role with Olivia, so critics may not want to pan her for fear of seeming out of touch. Charli is also like seen as a maverick so she might not bite it either. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

DirtyPony87
Depends on when KP6 comes out, but it might just have to be Katy, I fear. Poor woman can't catch a break.

BGKC
I don't see Billy going anywhere anytime soon lol It could be over for Cardi B tho. That sophomore album would have to be an amazing reinvention of herself.

GeminiCat
Billie is a critical darling and I think dropping the album all at once actually benefits her more. She's still riding high off the acclaim and public goodwill following WWIMF, no bad single choice(s) curb the momentum and anticipation for the album this time. Camila is my guess, this era is setting up to be very polarizing, I could see some scathing drags esp the way some writers went in on Taylor and Dua .
