Taylor fanboy Posted April 30 Posted April 30 I only really acknowledge ONE Marvel movie as "cinema" and it was Ragnarok. I was hyped for this and then… Good riddance! 1
vuelve88 Posted April 30 Posted April 30 That movie definitely felt like a parody. The dialogue was so cringey, and I actually enjoyed previous Thor movies. 1

It wasn't the best MCU film but definitely above average. I would rather watch any Thor than Captain America or Iron Man visual soup. Lol not when captain america has the best marvel movie. It's ok to be delusional but not so much 1
xperience30 Posted April 30 Posted April 30 He's right ! The movie was awful ( and I say this as a Marvel stan) 1

Right but this is going to connect the series to the MCU and people are excited for it. That plus Guardian's smashing and X-Men 97 gaining universal praise (both after Thor L&T) the MCU is in pretty good shape and people will show up if the movies are good. Edited April 30 by Danny789

loveisdead9582 Posted May 1 Posted May 1 If they had kept it closer to Ragnarok with a good plot that had some funny moments, it could have worked. Jane's arc and Gor should have made for a great movie. The shitty special effects, the nonsensical attempts at humor, Taika insisting on narrating a movie that didn't need to have a narrator, the who bit with the children at the end, it just… they straight up said they improvised most of their lines in the movie and it definitely showed.
