Since Xochitl is opposition right now, she proposed to eliminate all of the shady projects this government has done but at the same time keeping the 'good' things.

 

She's under PAN, and that party is conservative in the sense of being the 'but what about the business owners??' archetype. Morena, the current party, is not that far away from that tho, they just push that narrative of 'being with the poor' by giving money here and there.

 

This has created this division where Morena is strongly supported by the lower class, while PAN has the support of the middle class (or the ones who believe they are middle class). And of course, this gives room to classism.

I hope Claudia does a good job. People are not stupid (not anymore), they have voted for MORENA because the PRIAN has damaged this country for so many years, decades (it is because of them that we have so much poverty, violence and corruption, white collar thieves, presidents with millionaire pensions, poor people ignored...), and if now they trust Claudia it is because they are satisfied with what AMLO has done. Today has been historic, millions of people have come to vote, to exercise their right. Claudia has a great advantage over her competition and that tells us only one thing.
