BrokenMachine Posted May 15 Posted May 15 I was wondering if there was a thread in here about this It's insane how these elections were basically chosen 6 years ago But also it's insane how the opposition had 6 full years to build something remotely decent... and they couldn't even do that... like, it wasn't hard at all, the receipts were all over the place PRI is so in shambles... their chief begging Maynez to resign And... from it all, I can't believe how Enrique de la Madrid is behind Xochitl's campaign. Like... he is smart and hot, I don't get how he accepted something like that... I guess the check was way too good

Welcome to Mexican elections... it happens all the time. We've had celebrities like Carmen Salinas, Cuahtémoc Blanco and Ana Gabriela Guevara leeching off our public resources while having zero political experience Edited May 15 by BrokenMachine

Morena is the MPG, while PRD/PAN/PRI are serving Familia first-week numbers. Maynez.... is just there. 17 minutes ago, BrokenMachine said: They shot themselves in their feet with that one. I live in LA, which is like the biggest city with a predominant Mexican population and the amount of people who hated Xochitl and rooted for Claudia should tell you everything you need to know. I was watching El Amor No Tiene Receta (Juan eats with his novelas, I have VIX so I just use my TunnelBear app) earlier and the amount of ads I got for Claudia and Xochitl back to back. "Vamos a reparar las aguas" Like how? "Morena is gonna take away your benefits." Like how? Edited May 15 by Mellark

I guess the check was way too good To be fair, in last elections they had some well prepared candidate that actually knew what he was doing, but because he was rich, he didn't connect with people, so this time they went with the "humble woman from a small town" narrative.

So, giving away money for free to everyone instead of investing is being in touch with society? The "abrazos, no balazos" policy is being in touch with society? And don't get me started on the way Morena handled the pandemic

The fact that I live in León so I will be able to vote for ha Claudia is obviously going to win. Xochitl's campaign is a mess and a half. Even Maynez is getting a better response from the GP
manuelalex9810 Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Let's go Maynez!! Presidente Maynez, Maynez, Maynez! Maynez presidente de México!
