mercurialworld
If you've been on Reddit or Tiktok recently, you may have come across the catchy chorus of a mysterious song called "Ulterior Motives", or as people knew it, "Everyone Knows That". This lost gem from the 1980s has resurfaced after a ton of digging and speculation by music enthusiasts. Earlier today, a user on Reddit stumbled upon a vintage adult film, where the song was playing in the background. The discovery sent shockwaves through the online music community, as "Ulterior Motives" had been considered a "holy grail" among searchers in the community for years. The song was originally recorded by producer/director Christopher Saint Booth. Listen to the full track below: NSFW warning; there's moaning throughout the full recording as it's from a porn. Enjoy! mercurialworld
Just now, May said: the most random conclusion ever but like .. what now ? what about obtaining the high quality version, has anyone contacted the artists about it ? People have, and he's acknowledged it being found by liking some comments on Instagram about it. I guess we'll see if it gets an official release (or something better than the one I linked above)! I honestly haven't heard of Goodbye Horses, but this was quite rare. The subreddit just for the "search" of this song has around 45k followers and there's many tiktoks about it with more than 100k likes And @Tropical a person on a site for trying to find out what certain songs are uploaded a 17-sec snippet of it to the internet a few years ago, there also happens to be an IMDB for the film and the song is registered on ASCAP. Pretty interesting Edited April 29 by mercurialworld

Lost media is such a fascinating topic. It's unheard of nowadays for a song featured in a movie to not be available for consumption at any moment.

Pretty interesting Goodbye Horses is the song the plays during the "I'd f*ck me" scene in The Silence Of The Lambs. the artist, Q Lazarus, had essentially vanished after the release and it was an ATRLer that managed to locate her back in 2018, if i remember correctly. also have you heard of the original "Most Mysterious Song on the Internet" that went viral a few years back? afaik it still has yet to be identified. it would be a kii if it also came from p*rn Edited April 29 by popmusicisdead
