It doesn't need to be anything deep or personal. Come with the hits, with that classic Rihanna attitude, and people will flock back to her. I think she's overthinking it. Definitely show artistic growth, yes, but don't lose what people loved about you in the first place.

Listen, I'm all for artists taking their time on whatever they want to put out into the world but let's be frank, a Rihanna-type of act does not need all that damn time  If there really is an album, she's shooting herself in the foot with this "amazing" statement as the reason it's been stalled for so many years. She's only driving expectations through the roof and if it finally comes out, some might be disappointed if it's not leagues better than Anti.
