Negiiiii Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Im mad why i ain't see many messages saying Big Boy as opener is BEYYYOOOND
selena_lavigne Posted June 14 Posted June 14 (edited) All Yours seems to be my favorite. And it's the one with a little mark on it on Apple Music. Taste is winning. Edited June 14 by selena_lavigne
MusicIsMyMaster Posted June 14 Posted June 14 this was overall boring for me, and sounds dated. Some cute bops here and there but nothing groundbreaking. 1 2
selena_lavigne Posted June 14 Posted June 14 It's not for me how do i put this, it is a pleasant listening experience but it is a choice for me once i get to tracks 9 and 10 whether i'm going to get to the end. I feel like at some points it gets a lil bit like, you know nothing fresh or something that hits hard is gonna come that you haven't already heard before, so you pull away, but apart from that it's excellent. I would give this album a 4/5 I THINK. I THINK. But i need more time with it.
kayliah Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Does she still have fans now though to secure a great first week... are any of her songs viral... also really tacky to put all those collabs on the album to get certified. I mean the album is really good but isnt it too little too late now ? 1
selena_lavigne Posted June 14 Posted June 14 I also feel like it's lacking lyrically a little bit. And it could have had some more poppy hooks. Since it's labeled as pop. 1 2
kyliefever2002 Posted June 14 Posted June 14 the only thing that icks me is that if youre able to get brandy on your album why would you keep her on bgvs??? if it wasnt announced that it was her no one would know, and normani or starrah couldve done those herself, so cmon and give her a verse at least

Breathe On Moi Posted June 14 Posted June 14 I wanted to be a hater so bad but I'm listening atm and the way I'm shaking my ass to Take My Time ***** ok! 4
normanikordeix Posted June 14 Posted June 14 The album has already grown on me so much. I still need more time with Tantrums though...

Hidden Posted June 14 Posted June 14 The album is pretty good. It's kinda my vibe in music in general. I'll probably add a few of these songs to my playlists. All Yours is definitely the best song. Bad news is.. it doesn't seem like a successful sound for artists nowadays. Her voice performance is also very robotic 90% of the time. I like it but it's basically a robot singing within harmonies. And it's always songs with 10+ writers. :/ 2 3
wish Posted June 14 Posted June 14 All Yours might be the best song of her career (along with Wild Side). I keep coming back to it 1
normanikordeix Posted June 14 Posted June 14 My current ranking: 1. All Yours 2. Big Boy (surprised I love this because i did not like it when it leaked) 3. Lights On 4. Wild Side 5. Insomnia 6. Still 7. Candy Paint 8. Grip 9. Take My Time 10. 1:59 11. Little Secrets 12. Distance 13. Tantrums Fair would probably sit around 5/6 if it was on the album.
Motivation93 Posted June 14 Posted June 14 All yours is like the perfect blend of pop / r&b I'd say it's the most radio friendly. Very early 2000s vibes 1
ciara Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Third listen thus far. It gets better each time. I love an album that feels like a fun journey from start to finish and this album is what you call a cohesive BODY of work! Normani deserved any success that comes her way with this release. 1 1

Since it's labeled as pop. This isn't a Pop record imo. This is thoroughly R&B with splashes of pop there and there. And to be fair, DSPs always make this mistake. Remember when Cowboy Carter was initially labeled as Pop when it was clearly Country? It wasn't until the Beyhive went into an uproar that they changed genres. Besides, the majority of playlisting show that the record is indeed R&B. 2

I'm saying it's lacking a little in the catchy department.
