This is not the type of music I usually listen to but Insomnia is the best song on the album

If Candy Paint isn't a radio hit from this album, then nothing will I fear. I think this would have been a great 2nd album to experiment with but still feel a more pop sounding with R&B infused would have been better as a long awaited debut.

What a DEBUT :jonny2:

I'm on my third listen and I am still so OVERWHELMED

:jonny6: :jonny5::jonny2::jonny5::jonny6:

As someone who has followed her career (with all the accompanying trauma) since X factor, part of me still hasn't fully processed that this is real :weeps:

Production? Sublime, sleek.

Artistry? Self-possessed, specific. Dare I say, inventive? She balances the sonic bombast in her portrayal of her southern roots with a more intimate, experimental blend of pop and r&b that could only come from her. Her unique signature. Cohesively her.

I do have some critiques from a songwriting perspective (I was left craving more diversity in scope and subject matter because I know she has so much more to say beyond love and romantic relationships) but overall….

Excellence was served

I've already listened to the album three times. It's just so good.

But…for the love of God, why did they go with 1:59 as the "lead"? I don't care if it's because of the Gunna feature but…Everything else would've been a better representation of the album and while 1:59 is still really good, simply pales in comparison.

Wow, lots of good impressions! i'm excited to listen to the album today.

Heard a few songs, and it is solid! If only she released this when there was more hype around her, but better late than never!

After several more listens, I cannot get over  the immaculate production, adlibs and melodies. Honestly, her vocal growth is amazing. She IS undoubtedly one of the best vocalists today. Other than her impressive range, her sultry tone, and delivery on certain tracks distinguish her from peers like Chloe, Sabrina, and Tinashe, giving her songs a distinct edge.

Congratulations Normani, you have delivered an exceptional body of work.

My trinity

1. All Yours
2. Insomnia
3. Little Secrets
