oh wow oh wow Doja Cat being the third biggest female hitmaker in the streaming era is shocking but also makes complete sense to me. :omg: There hasn't really been a point in the last few years starting from Say So where she wasn't bagging a hit single every quarter of the year up until recently when things fell apart with Scarlet. She was truly on a run for the ages from 2020-2023

Taylor has been releasing music nonstop since like 2019 and she is the biggest artist on that platform but she spent less time there than SZA (only has two albums) and Selena Gomez

True

some of these artists are more of Singles-artists, rather than Album-artists

this list shouldn't be seen as a drag, since different artists spread out their playlist promotion depending on what they want to focus on and achieve

every act is different

This proves that Taylor doesnt have a GP hit apart from Cruel Summer (which is an actual smash) since Delicate outside her fanbase.:bird:

????

Today top hits has nothing to do with whether a song is a global hit or not, rather it has to do with whether a record label pays for its artist to appear in the first place

And yet her streams always manage to beat all of them. Meaning she doesn't rely on a playlist to get them streaming hits.

Tbh Taylor being low makes sense the Taylor's version singles don't have as much staying power. Evermore and folklore singles didn't either. Only times she has in recent years are anti hero and cruel summer.

Let me fix that for you "This proves that Taylor's singles success is not being fueled by Spotify's playlist curators deciding what should be a hit".

well, it does.. :psyduck: songs that are poorly received drop off fast but the biggest most ubiquitous hits spend the longest. it's mathematics, luv.

Um Anti Hero is a massive song, almost as massive as CS which means it's one of the biggest hits of 2023.

BTS with more days than Taylor. :deadbanana2:

The fact that there isn't even a 2nd 'TTPD' track on TTH, even tho almost all albums by A-listers get 2, if not even 3 entries. :deadbanana2:

Girl Anti-Hero is a global hit that has +1.5B streams

Not to mention supossed flops that outstream #1s like Lover or Cardigan, and album tracks SLAYING like August or don't blame me
