Maybe math is not your thing, but this excuse is only valid for short let tracks. The length of the album is two hours, so it is extremely impressive regardless of how many tracks it has.

Math IS my thing but this isn't just a matter of math. Given each person listens to the entire album throughout, which a semi avid listener would, the number of streams is already nearly three times. Be it the album playing in the background or so but people who are into the artist would give each track a listen through - the fact that they even wanted to listen to the album within the first week.

Nothing against Taylor that's why I checked this thread.

But, girls… please stop comparing to Beyoncé. Beyoncé debuted in the late 90s and is breaking streaming and chart records nearly 30 years into her career. Have some damn respect. Beyoncé once again has recieved significant cultural impact with the release of CC and I don't know anyone who is doing the same. She is making a difference which is far better than any Spotify streaming record.

Enjoy the success your fav is having and enjoy the music

This is an incredible, history making achievement by one of the biggest artist of all time, living legend Taylor Swift. I can see why ATRL stays seething over her. :clap3:

Swifties stop talking about Beyoncé challenge. It's giving obsessed.

We already stan the biggest artist in the world and there's no competition, no need to shove it down everyone's throats.

If someone from other fanbases is annoying, literally just ignore them. :dies:

I will truly never understand this chokehold she has over white people. :rip: I checked it out and it almost put me to sleep. Only she would know how to make a Post Malone collab boring. :rip:

Congrats to her, this is an amazing feat but she is way too overexposed and needs a break.

Same reason sports fans celebrate when their team wins? :michael:

Same reason you celebrate when your fav debuts with above 10k album sales? :michael:

They don't. Side A had 230M streams first day, side B had 80M. Most streams come from side A.

What's the impact of an album forgotten before it's been a month?

Girl what white people, her numbers are clearly sustained in multiple demographics, and her tour has smashed worldwide - specially in Asia. The "white people" narrative has long been debunked.
