I remember 3 weeks ago Swifties claimed Beyonce only debuted so well because she had so many tracks. So now what's the truth?

For comparison, what are the total streams for Cowboy Carter at this point?

Huh? Fortnight is a SMASH, its numbers are on par with Flowers first 5 days...

That's not a fair comparison given Flowers was a standalone single. It was massive and was everywhere and truly felt like it. You couldn't escape it. I have yet to see anything related to Fortnight online.

All of this for a complete dud of an album. And no Swifties, this will not be remembered in time retrospectively as a good or even decent body of work outside of your fanbase. Likely it'll just be another case study in the insane level of fame megastars like Taylor Swift achieve.

Should we act surprised?

She's just a league lightyears ahead of her peers. Like it's not even hyperbole.

The biggest artist of the 21st Century. :jonny6:

The THOTS (The Haters of Taylor Swift) did their big one :jonny:They were STREAMING DOWN HUNNY they were able to tell us all about her lyrics and how they didn't make sense to them, how each song sounded the same, making memes and think pieces to peak the GP interest so they would stream the album, and overall obsessing over the album more than they do their own faves, blah blah blah yada yada CONGRATS YOU DID THIS  :clap3:

Putting more work promoting the album than Taylor herself :clap3:

I believe Flowers must have done bigger numbers but still impressive for Fortnight while competing with other 30 songs.

Meh Swifties are a numbers driven fan base. It's a single and they want it to do better than everything else so they will stream it more than their favorite songs so that Taylor can be #1 for weeks. See Anti Hero getting the most streams on Midnights when Lavender Haze, the opening track, is a much better song.

You realize that 4 tracks from TTPD debuted with bigger numbers than all Cowboy Carter's 27 tracks, right? Be serious!

And like I said if the album had half the tracks it would also have half the streams. This is not about comparing to cowboy Carter.

And a case study for the insane amount of FUMES she generates from certain people

OT: She can't miss :clap3:

This is one of the BIGGEST DEBUTS OF ALL TIME but yeah, not felt like 1 smash song. Got it.

And you think if Fortnight didn't have to compete with 30 other brand new Taylor songs it would perform worse?

:clack:

Given how big the album is, I'm saying obviously Fortnight has a colossus number of streams. The entire album has colossus streams on every song. If you're asking me if the song was pushed on its own, would it have the success it's currently seeing? No, lol.

Anti-Hero is the lead single with a MV and promoted on playlists as lead single. Why wouldn't it have the most streams?  :dies:

The title track is the most streamed song in a single day in Spotify history. Prior to TTPD, Taylor set the record with Midnights which only had 20 songs.

Taylor is smashing because she's Taylor ******* Swift and has worked hard to cultivate a relationship with her cult that turn out for her each era.

So it's not a hit it's her fans obsessively streaming a song and purchasing so that she can stay #1.

If the swifties were a numbers driven fan base, Carolina would have gone #1. This is all the GP baby

Also lead singles tend to get more because they are the lead single. :rip: Done lost your minds
