americanlife Posted April 22 Posted April 22 I definitely think someone on her team tweeted those. I don't think she uses any of her social medias, aside from maybe Instagram and TikTok. Twitter is outdated for celebrity use.

Honestly she's very insecure for the level of career that she has She doesn't have to care about reviews She doesn't have to go a extra mile to sell more first week She doesn't have to talk about Kim in her tracks Tbh honest she doesn't realize she's pass all that And this is what I believe will ultimately be her downfall. The cracks in the facade are starting to show with her ego and desperate need for validation, and that's what's going to cause a backlash (though let's be real, nothing monumental given how big her fanbase is ). Her reaction to mixed reviews and next steps from here will be interesting to follow. We all saw how personally she took the Reputation response. 1

And being happy that your work still gets acknowledged? She hasn't lost the spark yet and I'm totally fascinated by it after how long she's already been hustling. She's not even doing old-fashioned promo and being in everyone's faces. The people flock to her by themselves. 1
dirrtydiana Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Is this a response to that bad reviewer hiding their name? 1

I don't think that's ever going to go away. Kanye/Kim kind of did irreversible damage to her psyche, but also the almost inhumane boundaries placed on her by her dad / her team / the industry she grew up in (country music). Her dopamine legitimately seems to only work when she's being praised. And, who doesn't wanna feel happy or rewarded in life ya know. I do hope she's able to settle down and start a family since it does seem like she truly wants that; having a child changes your perspective from yourself to another being completely.
Headlock Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Being an OTH has become pathologically synonymous with brain rot it seems, how does this thread have 4 pages over something she does every era 6 3 1

There is no facade, she straight up told us in that documentary that her happiness and fulfillment in life is based on her achievements and recognition We all know that at this point it's not some sort of secret that she's keeping. 2
Comedor Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Irresponsible of her to do something like this. I'd like to think she's just happy about the positive reviews, but she's not innocent or a newcomer, she knows this will have an impact on writers. Publishers are now likely to pushback any kind of negative pieces and ask for positive ones, in exchange for exposure and ad impressions. We knew she is the kind to seek approval from others, and that's on her, but this time it's really impacting the writers too. Oh well not my fight to fight! 7

She honestly needs to work on that cause, she doesn't really need to do much anymore. But well whatever makes her happy I do agree that having a family would bring her a new perspective and stop being stuck in that personal cycle.
KingWitch Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Ya'll acting like Taylor actually sat down and retweeted this when its just her team, give it up with the forced hate
Pheromosa Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Good review = a plug by the most popular artist on the planet 1 1
Thor Posted April 22 Posted April 22 She's so embarrassing and stays giving off middle school mean girl energy at her big age. 3 1

Cockney Cupcake Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Imagine being this successful and rich yet the most insecure and bothered …. 1
Gui Blackout Posted April 22 Posted April 22 She/her team has done this with every album, why is this an event? What's the difference between retweeting this and retweeting sales stats, achievements, etc? 2
Blackout2006 Posted April 22 Posted April 22 51 minutes ago, Rotunda said: I'm not saying I think it's a big deal Taylor is doing this, but this comparison is kinda…stupid. Grammy voters are anonymous, specific Grammy voters won't be called out by Bey or benefit from voting in her favor. If anything, they'll probably be turned off by her doing this (hell, I think it's a bit cringe). Writers have an incentive toward writing reviews that'll get them clicks. Taylor is explicitly showing that she'll name and promote the articles of people who write glowing reviews, which may impact future reviewers. That was such a disingenuous comparison pls How do some swifties do it 1
