I'm sorry but those albums are so boring to me. 😭 I tried to like them but I guess I like 2014-2019 pop Taylor more.

Lover is like one of my least favorite recent albums from her.

We shouldn't count the retrospective reviews, we know it's not the same. Otherwise it's pretty good of a ranking, just move reputa at the very bottom

"There's the one that borrows its premise from Olivia Rodrigo". (they are referring to Get Him Back!). But which TTPD song are they referring to?

Two of her worst albums at the top while two of her best on the bottom. That says everything i need to know about PF's credibility :skull:

The Anthology being her lowest is kinda a surprise. I agree with their ranking more than yours though, Fearless is not her best album :sorry:

Pitchfork reviews always seem like a game of dice, it's unimaginable to me how they chose not to review 1989 initially (instead reviewing a cover album???) or 30, some of the biggest albums in recent memory.

The thing with them (and most other critics) is that their initial scores tend to be biased by however they feel about Taylor as a celebrity at the time, while retrospective reviews and scores are detached from that and thus more purely evaluate the music on its own merit. Hence three rerecordings being her highest rated albums here.

They do have the correct top 5, if in the wrong order.

Folklore should be higher than Red and Speak Now, IMO.

Lover should be lower.

Pitchfork hardly gets -any- artists right. Let alone the most polarizing mainstream artist of this past decade
