Twizzy Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Is a 6.0 in 2024 basically not a slap in the face? Jlo's latest album is higher than that..
Aden Posted April 22 Posted April 22 3 hours ago, CaptainMusic said: A 6.0 in 2024 is basically a pan, and would be like a 5 at best pre-poptimism. Interesting Gaga's never been panned though. She has a respected discography outside of stan-brained/pophead circles. Artpop is the closest she has to a panned record but it managed to gain more respect in the long run. Not sure if Pitchfork even reviewed it at the time but they gave it a positive retroactive review. 1
More Than A Melody Posted April 22 Posted April 22 (edited) Well, he's not a girl, but Harry never went lower than 6.0 even though Pitchfork actively despise him. They also never reviewed 1D as a group. They didn't review one of Louis' and two of Niall's, but have panned literally every other album all four of them have released except Icarus Falls, which got a 6.4. Mind Of Mine 5.9 Nobody Is Listening 5.6 Heartbreak Weather 4.7 Walls 4.8 LP1 4.3 I don't wanna jinx it, but I have a feeling that unless his next album is the best undeniable piece of work he could ever release they'll pan him. IDK why but I think P4 is full of stans now and stans are Harry's only haters. Edited April 22 by More Than A Melody
