satellites.™ Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Quote And boy, do we never arrive. The thirty-one tracks on offer read like a joke that the most militant Swift-denier would cook up. That number is not a typo, and neither are song titles like "But Daddy I love Him", "Florida!!!" (with three exclamation points), and "loml" -which, "cleverly" stands for both 'love' and 'loss' of my life. The two-hour long punchline is that Swift is actually in on the joke. The zany titles and lines like "touch me while your bros play Grand Theft Auto" are merely an act, you see, to illustrate how much of a mastermind she has always been and always will be. Everything here is caked in so much self-aware irony that meaning ceases to be. Yes, she hints at being in on the joke, but she still tells it, which makes anyone with critical thinking skills understand she wants to keep the cake and eat it too.
DiegoMarcoCMM Posted April 22 Posted April 22 I don't understand why "Midnights 3Am Edition" doesn't have separate scores and "TTPD The Anthology" does.
Kern Posted April 22 Posted April 22 (edited) Damn this album got whole spectrum of scores from the lowest possible to mixed to praiseful people don't know what to do with Taylor anymore Edited April 22 by Kern
VeniceBeach Posted April 22 Posted April 22 (edited) Her Solar Power is here which means she will ditch Antonoff for TS12 Edited April 22 by VeniceBeach 1
eli's_rhythm Posted April 22 Posted April 22 What's pissing ME! off is that this album is actually excellent and deserves much better reviews than Fadnights, which was highly overrated by critics and Grammys. Fadnights should've been the Lover to this one's folklore! 1 1
Trip Posted April 22 Posted April 22 ngl I don't really care about the album itself but the reactions in here are hilarious 3

Its literally just like with the MCU. While they both clearly boost the industry in terms of revenue, they completely derive it from quality and creativity. 11

Blue Rose Posted April 22 Posted April 22 okay now imagine if TinyMixtapes comes out of retirement to give her another punch 8
MonsterConnor Posted April 22 Posted April 22 77 for regular version, 69 for anthology version. Can't wait for the threads being ridiculous and asking: "Is TTPD Taylor's Witness era" or some ****.
