I think we should take it seriously that many publications have mentioned death threats. Proves the average age for Taylor Swift fans is 13.

The overarching sentiments seem to be about general Taylor Swift fatigue and that she's not pushing herself outside of her comfort zone in terms of sound… which is valid.

And yeah 31 songs is TOO much. She needs an editor, I agree with that :rip:

But if you listen to the actual music - it's beautiful. Lyrically dense, incredibly rich, very lore-heavy and scratches the itch most Taylor fans are looking for.

It's perfectly fine if people don't connect with the music but this "pAnNed" narrative is just so forced.

I haven't listened to the album but it can't possible be a 1/10. They're doing too much at this point.

Look the album is a 6.5-7/10. But if journalists buckle under the pressure of her celebrity and the fear of attacks from her fanbase and give her undeserved 10s, it makes sense that others would try to troll or fly in the face of her oppressive presence and give it a 1. It goes both ways but it will probably settle in the right range.

Well, duh? Why would she be retweeting the negative reviews? Be serious for once please. :toofunny3:

Why would she retweet any of them?

0.5/5 so it's a 20/100

Since none is helping you, I volunteer.

0.5/5 = 0.1 = 10% = 10/100

and swifties SWORE people weren't tired of her but see?? the shift is already starting

I mean if people were truly tired of her, the album wouldn't be doing nearly 150M streams in its third day :rip:

A lot of the enjoyment is tied into knowing a lot about Taylor as a person as well as her previous music…

It's kinda insane she dropped an album so perfectly crafted for the fans yet is so alienating to casual audiences at the very peak of her commercial success.

They were in 2006

Now they're all either 35+ yo cat women or fully grown self-victimizing white gay men who along with Swift herself have failed to do any growing and just yell at the sky for their own shortcomings. exhibit: @Raspberries and any tortured swiftie that replies to this post

Now the 2/10 scores might be a bit over the top. The album is a solid 5.5 or 6.

But it compensates the ridiculously biased Rolling Stone review so ultimately I'm fine with it

If it's not for massive sales, this won't be nominated for AOTY or maybe completely shut out by Grammys. :rip:
