dman4life Posted April 20 Posted April 20 (edited) WAIT i was super underwhelmed when I first heard this and especially it being the lead but this is a true VIBE and the definition of an earworm! I love how it's not immediately catchy but in actuality it's catchy AF I would even say it's one of her strongest leads now Edited April 20 by dman4life 1
Jack! Posted April 20 Posted April 20 The video was pleasant, the art direction was great and wasn't convoluted so I enjoyed that. The song is also growing on me so that's a plus!
Crank_It_Up Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Love the video, the song is still not clicking for me unfortunately. I'll need to listen to the album more, maybe that'll help. I wish Guilty As Sin was the lead single. Let us pray it'll be the next!

Nico Robin Posted April 20 Posted April 20 This is surely one of her best openers but not really single worthy imo. Im happy its probably going #1 tho

Angelo Posted April 20 Posted April 20 I think it's finally growing on me. All her lead singles clicked with me instantly even "Cardigan" and "ME!" but i'm having a hard time with this one. 1
Lemon Posted April 20 Posted April 20 I applaud the aesthetic and overall neo noir thriller drama vibe aaaand horror icon Ethan Hawke. This video suits so much the vibe of THE BLACK phone.
chiliam Posted April 20 Posted April 20 The video really made the song much better, like never thought Post and Taylor have that type of chemistry. She should lipsync more in the videos though. She should lipsync the entire The electricity and rain scene. 3

Jude Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Am I the only one who thinks her vocal delivery is very similar to Lana? Anyway, it's not her best lead but I dig this sound especially in my lone time. It feels so nostalgic and sad. This has a chance to smash especially with the current trend of alternative/chill songs smashing this year.
Tistotal Posted April 20 Posted April 20 I couldn't even find the chorus. It happened with Anti hero in the first listen too. 1 2 1
Velvet Night Posted April 20 Posted April 20 I love this mv, this aesthetic suits her so well. I loved the chemistry between her and Post and they genuinely seemed to have a good time filming this. 1

Red Velvet Posted April 20 Posted April 20 The video is nice and artistic. However the song is not very single worthy? Obivously will go #1 but anything that was the lead would
Eclass Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Ethan Hawke deserves the Oscar for best supporting actor in the video. This song is in my top3 lead singles from her (along with Cardigan & Shake it off)
