okgo Posted April 18 Posted April 18 (edited) The ads were posted on Instagram and used as physical posters in a couple of locations. A source close to the movie said the images help imagine the nationwide impact of the film's fictional war. "These are AI images inspired by the movie," a source said. "The entire movie is a big 'what if' and so we wanted to continue that thought on social — powerful imagery of iconic landmarks with that dystopian realism." Edited April 18 by okgo
WildAmerican Posted April 18 Posted April 18 (edited) and they should be under fire also the deceptive marketing when this movie basically has like 3 locations in total Edited April 18 by WildAmerican 2
ATRL Moderator wehavetostan Posted April 18 ATRL Moderator Posted April 18 They should’ve posted a still from the movie
Trent W Posted April 18 Posted April 18 To be fair most movie posters always look bad and they have always been edited over the top and they end up looking AI. But using AI for art is really really bad. It's cheap, uninspiring and there is really no need for this. I really think AI doing art is the worst technological advancement of all time Is the first time I say this really will affect us more than helping us AI should just be used for science and space exploration and stuff that is out of human reach 3
Pendulum Posted April 18 Posted April 18 no cause it kinda makes sense ?? like what if AI is part of the script? their masterminds..

St. Charles Posted April 18 Posted April 18 So what if the movie never had the budget to create posters like this without AI? There's being cheap by hoarding profits and then there's this. Why does everything on Twitter have to be a moral outrage lol 2

sweetblindness Posted April 18 Posted April 18 I enjoy some of their films, but everything else about A24 is borderline insufferable to me. Their marketing lately has been increasingly tasteless so I'm not surprised about this.
perfillusion Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Not people thinking A24 has integrity when they famously underpay and overwork everyone.
shinyshimmery Posted April 18 Posted April 18 idk why people get so bothered like it's personally impacting their wallets, like who cares if the studio tries to save some money on posters and advertisement. I saw the movie and it is great.

AI is coming for everyone's wallet pretty soon, I haven't been personally affected but a lot of people are and is coming for every single one of us Unless there are some really really heavy regulations And not personally coming for you but the people are saying "why is everyone so bothered" is because so far they haven't been affected But believe me, that **** is advancing so fast in the next years that is going to leave humanity useless. makeme Posted April 18 Posted April 18 I literally just got out of a zoom lecture for my marketings analysis class on the topic of AI art. The woman was very passionate about it. So funny to log on and see you all shitting on it. I don't see the problem
