If Dua had released Espresso….

I can't help but think Espresso sounds like a mix of Potion, and the Future Nostalgia album.
so what if Dua had released it instead of Ms Sabrina?

Would Dua get dragged for "making the same song" again? Would people appreciate the actual FN-lite sound which Houdini and TS lack? Or is it just that Sabrina has more hype and power than Dula?

Some people think Houdini, Training Season and Illusion sounds like FN (or pretend to think they think that because some fan bases like to troll online over and over and over) even it is different to everyone who actually has some knowledge in music, so it doesn't really matter for them what she release they would still troll.

However, "Espresso" being cute song as it is, it really sound like juvenile B-side from FN and could easily sits there next to Good In Bed

Its a cute song but there is nothing differentiating enough from all the funk-bass pop songs which were released from 2019 till now

Personally I would be disappointed  if Dua released something like Espresso even I drink three a day :)

i love Espresso, and Houdini, and Training Season, and Illusion. I think it could've been a good hit for both of them. However I think Dua's following the right path.

We could use AI to test it out and see what it would sound like :-* Of course someone gotta sing similarly to Dua since Sabrina's voice and singing style sound completely different from Dua's.

She and her colaborators would make sure to overcomplicate it to the point of being unlistenable like all her recent songs.

Maybe then it would be more vocally interesting than a musical equivalent of paint drying on a wall

based on some of your posts I saw on this forum I am happy my taste is far from yours.

Let Sabrina finally have a hit, 10 years into her career, even we dont know if Espresso will be hit yet

She would get dragged for releasing "Future Nostalgia rejects"

This is Sabrina's first bonafide and her fans are excited. Let's see if she can release another hit before we start getting brave
