sciencemagic Posted April 18 Posted April 18 In its 18th week on the charts, the anticipated comeback album from the so-called "Queen of Rap," Pink Friday 2 gag city Pluto version deluxe roman reloaded, is #65 on this week's Billboard 200 albums chart, down from #51 last week. This is despite Ms. Minaj being on a sold-out arena tour (as her fans like to boast). Although the fiasco of Big Foot did not help her reputation, some of the Batrbz said that she had won back the GP and she always stays here etc. But why isn't the GP listening? Also worth noting that Pink Friday 2 has 22 tracks. Just a few albums comparison: Think Later (Tate McRae) -- also 18 weeks on the chart, position #58 (despite debuting lower than PF2) Blond (Frank Ocean) -- 377 WOC, position #61 My Turn (Lil Baby) -- 215 WOC, position #48 (sorry if this is in the wrong section) 11 1 1
ImpressMeMuch Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Why are all the examples you compared to basically at the same area of the chart 3
Phaunzie Posted April 18 Posted April 18 I guess since someone needs to be troubled by Pink Friday 2 chart position, you chose to occupy that lane. 2
Talento Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Interesting! Here's how it's comparing to her other albums at week 18 The PinkPrint - #19 Pink Friday - #20 Roman Reloaded - #49 Queen -#53 not this being her new flop era! 3 10

Wow I didn't think it'd be possible that this era is a bigger flop than Queen 1 1 1

Think Later is an apt comparison since they've been on the charts the same amount of time, but from someone which much smaller name recognition.

Twizzy Posted April 18 Posted April 18 (edited) I was reading this whole thread with the presumption PF2 was #35 and was so confused why everyone was saying it was bad, then I re-read the title and see it's actually #65 Edited April 18 by Twizzy

Bey_Rihstan Posted April 18 Posted April 18 I mean she kinda abandoned the era when she found out she couldn't tack on random songs to the Deluxe Edition every week 1
pride4jc1222 Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Nicki basically shot herself in the foot by releasing Big Foot, instead of just letting PF2 shine. Before Big Foot, PF2 was solidly in the Top 20 of the Billboard 200, with Everybody smashing on radio and FTCU doing very good streaming numbers. If Nicki was going to release something, it should have been Pink Friday Girls, which probably would have been bigger than Everybody and FTCU. 7
Bhabylon Posted April 18 Posted April 18 A lot of the Barbz went to jail for doxxing which is probably why her numbers dipped 7
Topaz Posted April 18 Posted April 18 It's because she technically isnt pushing singles or releasing videos. Her fault. FTCU and Everybody coulda been bigger.
punisher Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Some other albums on their 18th week… Good News - 17 IOP - 7 Scarlet - 34 chile 3
