Kern Posted April 16 Posted April 16 If Folklore was cottagecore and PTSD is dark academia then what aesthetic was Midnights? Galaxy? Jack Antonoff core?

AnitaFalafel Posted April 16 Posted April 16 All I'm gonna say is that the whole of folklore is 10/10 but y'all sleep way too much on Hoax, that song is truly the most tortured poem of all Stood on the cliff side screaming give me a reason Your faithless love's the only hoax I believe in I mean just the IMAGERY of this.... I could only hope to have its sexy little sister on the new album 7

Better Mistakes Posted April 16 Posted April 16 I don't see the issue with the credits?? Wasn't Jack on 11 of the 13 (84%) Midnights standard songs. Here we've got him on only 50% of the album. Taylor would/will never drop Jack instantly so let's celebrate our Jack Antoaddict making these steps to recovery 3
SoSickOfThatSOL Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Spoiler 1. Exile 2. my tears ricochet 3. The 1 4. August 5. Cardigan 6. betty 7. seven 8. Tlgad 9. Mirrorball 10. The lakes 11. epiphany 12. Timt 13. pinkbowvintage Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Okay JUST seeing the writing credits.... She knows what she's doing with the healthy mix of Jack and Aaron. She's really been listening. I'm hoping for at least one more self-written in the bonus tracks. 2

Migs30283 Posted April 16 Posted April 16 (edited) fortnight is either a ballad like What Was I Made For? or an upbeat song like Cruel Summer Edited April 16 by Migs30283 1
?????? Posted April 16 Posted April 16 betty is truly the worst song on folklore, even hoax is at least redeemable for poetic qualities. floptty is just a misplaced country hymn from the pov of a good for nothing 2 3 2

They were actually the first ones to be recorded! That was the concept before she changed direction with Jack. As per Aaron: 2
