Funny how no one has reported the credits on Twitter although it's been 15+ min since they were published

I was hoping for more solo written songs :rip:

Taylor is VERY generous with writing credits, Aaron Dessner is credited for Cardigan but he shared the first draft she sent him of the song and it's almost the same, bar a verse or two changed.

The credits look good but I just can't trust Aaron to make a dynamic instrumental that can carry over 5 minutes. BDILH, please be more like WCS and less like happiness:dancehall:

I think I remember from somewhere that Taylor is generous when sharing writing credits. Like if someone comes up with a new melody for the same lyric, I think she credits them in writing. But I could totally be making that up.

I honestly thought someone posted it already. I have been wondering for a long time what the credits are.

Pretty satisfied. A good mix of Jack and Aaron

Songwriting isn't just coming up with lyrics, people. How many times does this need to be stated on ATRL?

The writing credits aren't only about the lyrics or the melody. If she builds a song on an instrumental made by someone that someone will be credited as a songwriter even if they didn't write one word for the song. So most of these tracks are probably still "written" by her alone but she simply wrote them on top of instrumentals made by Jack or Aaron.
