selena_lavigne Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Idk really i've had too much coffee so let me write, My relationship with Taylor Swift's music started when my sister played her music for me in the Summer of 2010 most notably Picture To Burn (Gay Pride Version) We were then leant Speak Now by a friend at Church. My whole family would listen to it all the time in the car. The album was called Speak Now. Then my friends would always listen to debut. I was not a huge fan but I loved the title track and a few of the other songs. I grew to really enjoy Speak Now. But I preferred listening to A Year Without Rain. When Red came out I loved I Knew You Were Trouble. I bought Red for my sister for Christmas. Then they always played Everything Has Changed on the radio. I grew to love that song. When 1989 came out I bought it on iTunes and found it very enjoyable and considered it a 4/5 album. My favorites were Welcome To New York, Blank Space, I Wish You Would, Bad Blood, and I Know Places. When IDWLF came out I loved it. Then when LWYMMD came out I thought it was a complete collapse. When …Ready For It came out I listened to it on the trip from NYC back to Caracas. It became my favorite Taylor Swift song. It felt cool to listen to that song. Then rep came out, i thought about 2/3 of the album was a collapse. I reviewed and covered many of the songs on rep and thought ARTV and theneedledrop and all of these MEN who were reviewing the album to be tasteless. I watched the LWYYMD video a gizzilion times in order to snatch my rep tour tickets. I was extremely excited to get to see Camila Cabello and Taylor Swift the same night. And I was also hoping Delicate would go top 10. My night was the night she announced Delicate had gone #1 on radio. My mom LOVED the concert and so did i. My favorite moments were End Game and Dress, and maybe other moments. And Fearless. I LOVED ajayii's reaction to reputation and especially …Ready For It. When Lover came out I thought it was another 4/5 album with my favorites being I Think He Knows and Afterglow. I bought the Stella Mccartney tee with the songs on the back. It is a sexy and comfortable shirt. When folklore came out I liked the 1 and a few other songs but it isn't me. BUT I DID BUY my favorite limited edition cover. When evermore came out I decided to potentially re-stan, i enjoyed a lot of the songs on there especially Cowboy Like Me, ivy, tolerate it, and happiness. When Fearless TV came out i thought it was cute. I supported. When Red (TV) came out i thought it was cute but i didn't like what they did with WANEGBT, but i supported. Throughout 2022 i began to really familiarize myself with everything Taylor Swift. When Midnights came out I thought it was a good album. My favorites were Lavender Haze and Glitch. But then one day I was sitting in my room and I was thinking about Alex and Hades, and i decided that Alex and Hades had something to do with Midnights. So I wrote a lot of stories, mostly with Alex about the characters in the Midnights universe and sometimes i self-inserted. I made playlists that would mood-board the storylines for the different characters. I had started seeing signs that Taylor would go sexier, from I Can See You to Sl*t! I became excited. Now we are here after Taylor announced an album with her best album cover and top 3 album titles, and I am extremely excited for what is to come.
